Chalet 19

We had a great time. The location was walkable distance to Main Lodge, so it was great not having to worry about parking. Snowcat service is super convenient to move your luggage to your chalet especially if it's a bit of a walk away. The office communicates via text and is super responsive. The chalet we stayed in, Chalet 23, was clean and had mostly everything we needed - tons of boardgames, kitchen utensils, bathroom necessities, etc. Only thing is it's a bit cramped for 11 people (the max occupancy); not much room to move around in the kitchen, and the dining table and living room were pretty tight with all 11 of us sitting there together. I recommend maybe 9 people use Chalet 23 if you want to stay here spaciously/comfortably. I would definitely go for one of the Large chalets instead of a medium next time around. Overall, solid place and would book with Mammoth Mountain Chalets again.

Had a lovely stay at Mammoth Mountain Chalet #4 with my two teenage daughters and friends. The location is unbeatable- ski straight to Discovery Chair 11, and from too, with a bit more effort. The chalet had everything we needed in terms of appliances, utensils, and space, including a separate den area for the kids to split off and do their own thing if desired. The beds were super comfy. The wood burning fireplace added much needed warmth and ambiance. Service was very responsive too. We?ve stayed other places but this will be our new spot. If you are looking for the storybook mountain experience, with rustic charm, the chalets are it. Thank you for an amazing experience!!
